Domestic Short Hair - Black and white - Tux - Large - Adult
Tux is a very sweet, 6 yr. old lap cat but might need an adjustment period. Tux, and his brother, Bean, were adopted from us in 2007 as the sweetest little 4 mos. old bonded kittens. We got a call from the people that adopted them in 2012, that they had a baby and can no longer keep the two cats, supposedly because of allergies, although, when asked if they had allergy testing done we did not get an answer. When I went to pick the boys up they were outside cats, against our agreement, and they absolutely hated each other. When Bean saw Tux in the garage, he started hissing and growling and got very aggressive. These two gorgeous boys were adopted together and if they had lived together, as per our agreement, this behavior would not be happening, again, when asked about this we were never answered. When we brought them back to the foster home, they were extremely aggressive, to each other and to humans. Bean, more than Tux! It was a tough adjustment, but over the last couple of months they have learned to live with each other and be around other cats. They are both very affectionate to humans and want to be held and loved now. We think they would do very well seperately but if someone wanted to keep them together and only had these two cats it would probably be a slight adjustment but it would work...
